Before you read
We make Olunix, one of the tools on this list. Everything we say about the other tools comes from their own websites, checked on October 18, 2026. We haven't made claims we couldn't check there, and we've said where each one is a better fit than ours.
The short answer
There isn't one best AI marketing tool for founders. It depends on the job:
- Writing anything, any time: ChatGPT or Claude.
- A marketing team with brand rules: Jasper or Copy.ai.
- Growing on LinkedIn: Taplio.
- Writing and scheduling for X and other networks: Typefully or Buffer.
- Ranking articles on Google: Surfer.
- Drafts that only use your real numbers: Olunix.

General AI assistants
ChatGPT
OpenAI's general assistant. It turns rough notes into finished writing, makes images, searches the web and can connect to apps like Gmail and Slack.
Good for: Brainstorming, one-off posts, emails and work well beyond marketing. There's a free version.
Keep in mind: You write a prompt for every piece, and you supply and check the facts. It doesn't post or schedule for you.
Claude
Anthropic's general assistant. It drafts and edits writing, works with your files and connected apps, and keeps context across conversations in Projects.
Good for: Longer writing, editing and work that pulls from your own documents. There's a free plan.
Keep in mind: Like ChatGPT, it's a blank chat until you ask. It doesn't post or schedule social posts.
Marketing platforms for teams
Jasper
An AI workspace for marketing teams. Jasper IQ stores brand voice, style guides and product knowledge, and a library of agents covers SEO content, campaigns, email, social and more.
Good for: Marketing teams that need many people writing on brand across blogs, email, ads and landing pages. Pro has a 7-day free trial.
Keep in mind: It's built for teams, with enterprise features to match. Its site doesn't say it publishes or schedules posts.
Copy.ai
A go-to-market AI platform for sales and marketing teams, with workflows, agents, a company knowledge base, brand voice and over 2,000 integrations.
Good for: Teams automating sales and marketing work, like prospecting and CRM enrichment, alongside content.
Keep in mind: It's now aimed at go-to-market teams more than solo copywriting. Its pricing page doesn't show a free plan.
SEO writing
Surfer
An SEO platform for writing and improving articles that rank, with a content editor that gives live guidance and tracking of how AI tools like ChatGPT mention your brand.
Good for: Founders or content teams who want blog posts to rank on Google and show up in AI answers.
Keep in mind: It's built for long-form articles, not social posts. Its site lists automatic publishing by its agent as coming soon.
Daily drafts from your own facts
Olunix
Our tool. Seven agents, one per channel, draft LinkedIn and X posts, Reddit posts and replies, Reels and TikTok scripts, ads, landing pages and SEO articles every day from your brief and Library. Every number has a source, and when a draft needs a figure you haven't given it, it leaves a blank.
Good for: Founders who want a steady flow of drafts across channels that only use their real numbers.
Keep in mind: It's on a waitlist, and prices aren't set yet. It doesn't post or schedule: you copy each draft and post it yourself, so you'd pair it with your own accounts or a scheduler.
How to choose
Start with the job you keep putting off. If it's writing, a general assistant may be enough. If it's posting on time, you want a scheduler. If it's one channel, a tool built for that channel will go deeper.
Then ask one question of any tool: where do the numbers in a draft come from? A post with a made-up figure costs you more than a post you never wrote. Whatever you use, check every number before it goes out. We built Olunix around that exact problem.
Questions
Do I need more than one tool?
Often, yes. Many founders pair something that writes with something that schedules. For example, a writing tool for drafts and Buffer or Typefully to post them on time.
Which of these post for me?
From their own sites: Taplio, Typefully and Buffer schedule and publish posts. ChatGPT, Claude and Olunix don't post to social networks. Jasper and Copy.ai don't say either way.
How did you pick these tools?
They're the tools founders most often weigh for writing and posting marketing: two general assistants, two team platforms, three social tools and one SEO tool. We left out tools we couldn't check from their own sites.
Social media writing and scheduling
Taplio
An AI tool for growing on LinkedIn. It writes posts from an idea, shows trending posts in your niche, makes carousels and helps with comments and outreach.
Good for: Founders and sales teams who want to grow on LinkedIn specifically. 7-day free trial, no card needed.
Keep in mind: LinkedIn only. It can publish posts automatically at set times, so check you're comfortable with that.
Typefully
A tool for writing, scheduling and publishing posts to X, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon and Substack, with an AI writing assistant and analytics.
Good for: Writing and scheduling threads and short posts, especially on X. There's a free plan.
Keep in mind: The AI writing features start on the paid Creator plan. It polishes what you write rather than drafting from your business facts.
Buffer
A social media scheduler for most networks, from Instagram and TikTok to LinkedIn and X. Its AI Assistant brainstorms ideas, rewrites posts and adjusts them for each platform.
Good for: Planning and scheduling posts across many channels. The free plan covers 3 channels and includes the AI Assistant.
Keep in mind: The AI helps with wording; the core of Buffer is scheduling. You still bring the ideas and the facts.
